Colin Eadon Eden |
Colin is The Man. As Senior Tutor, he initiates us (gently) into the best of traditional and contemporary furniture making techniques and designs. Trained at the famous
Edward Barnsley workshop, veteran of the famous workshop at Parnham and a long-time editor of
Furniture & Cabinet Making magazine, there ain't much he don't know.

Cheryl Mattey |
Cheryl was our first and in the memory mayeb always the best. As First Year Tutor, she took us from wobbly saw cuts to actual pieces of furniture, and we still turn to her for advice and support. She has over 25 years joinery and furniture making experience, a degree on
Historic Building Conservation and last year was made a Freeman of the
Carpenters Company - and it all shows in the classroom.

Kate Payne |
Kate possesses an awesome combination of knowledge about furniture making, design, art, tools and machines. Also a tutor on London Metropolitan's
Furniture & Product Design course, she adds a touch of art school class to our woody proceedings. But don't think she's afriad to get her hands dirty, because she also has a distinct way with all things tool and machine-related.
